ルカンガ湿地帯の南。
現在の地図にもその辺りに Chitanda という地名がある。（ザンビア地図）

マシュクルンベ州について。
　旧北ローデシアへの入植時、南西部でバトカ族、マシュクルンブェ族の土地を入手したとある。（現代史）

　マタベレ国の英語版のウィキに載っていた１８８７年の地図の端っこにそれらしき地名が。

Maschikulumbe と。

　いや。これについては、先日の記述の中東の地図サイトに飛んでみたら、
そこにアフリカの地図もあって、古地図もあって。
その辺のリンクか何かで、あちこち調べていたら！

　カフェ河がシタンダからザンベジ川へ大きく南西に蛇行する辺り。
